The Some Things Never Change Tour was amazing last night!! So many new bands I never heard of, they all just tore it up!! It was so cool to jam out to new music and meet some very cool people!
There was four local bands that opened the show and they all killed it! First was Of The Beloved, though I only saw their last song it they were sick! Silent On Fifth Street was next and they really got the crowd going, a lot of energy! Next was Manuscripts, and I gotta say they blew me away! They had two screamers which both were in perfect sync! The last local was Arabella and they got that place jumping! The whole floor was a mosh pit!
Sworn In took the stage, and they had the creepiest but sickest vibe I haven’t seen in a metal band in awhile! I will be checking more of their music for sure, a must see live!! Then the boys of Upon This Dawning took the stage, and they just took that show to a new level! I love the energy and the crowd influence they have, and they are some of the nicest coolest guys I have ever met!
Hundredth came out next and pretty much just took whatever pieces of the roof was left, put them back together, and blew them up again! Their performance was indescribable! The headliners themselves finally took the stage, For The Fallen Dreams, I have no idea where to begin what I saw. I did not recognize most of the songs, probably because their old singer Chad came back and they played more songs he was accustomed to, but they still rocked!
From the mosh pits, to stage dives, to the crowd singing along, every band their just was perfect. Even my friend who came with me who isn’t the biggest metal fan loved every moment of it! All the band members I met were so modest too and the look of the faces when I gave them the cupcakes I made for the show was priceless, especially Matteo from UTD! I cannot wait to see them all again!
